Booking Info

Here’s how you can book a tattoo with me!

Please send all tattoo inquiries to aleksaavart@gmail.com (yes, two A’s).

Please include the following—

  • Your name & pronouns (if applicable)

  • Studio Location

    I work between Utopia Tattoo in Auburn, CA and White Buffalo Gallery in East Sacramento at this time— I also work tattoo conventions and guest spot from time to time. If you want me to come visit your neck of the woods, let me know!

  • Tattoo description

    Do your best here to describe your idea! Include the size (inches or cm), placement, color preference as well as any specific details or styles that you’re looking for.

  • 3-5 reference images

    this can include flash designs, other tattoos to show style/vibe that you’re going for, artwork or photo references that are relevant to your tattoo inquiry, as well as the area to be tattooed.

  • Budget (if applicable)

Please allow 24-48 hours for initial response to tattoo inquiries and check your spam folder periodically to make sure my email made its way back to you!

Once I assess your tattoo inquiry, I will send over my booking calendar link to book a tattoo appointment or a consultation to chat more about your project. A non-refundable tattoo deposit will be collected upon booking the tattoo appointment.

Reworks, Cover-ups and the Consultation process.

I accept reworks and cover-ups on a case-by-case basis and a consultation is required for me to decide to accept a project or not. I generally ask to have more creative freedom in this realm of work as options are limited in order to create a satisfying end result.

Consultations are free and are required for larger and complex projects. Consultations can be performed in person at the shop or remotely via Zoom.

I also want to include that whether it’s your first tattoo ever or first tattoo in a long time, I welcome anyone to set up a consultation before booking a tattoo with me. This can be a great opportunity to talk through ideas and answer any questions regarding the process that might come up.

Tattoo Pricing & Policies

Custom Hourly Rate— $180

Day Rate — $900 (5+ hours of tattoo time)

Pre-drawn repeatable flash/ Wannadoo’s— Reduced Hourly Rate or Price per piece

A $100 deposit is required to book an appointment. This is collected when a date is selected on the booking calendar (Square/ card) or at the end of a consultation via cash, Square, or Zelle. Deposits are non-refundable but will count as credit towards the tattoo session.

At the appointment , I accept card (4% fee) or cash as payment for the session.

I aim to be as accurate as I can with my price quotations and honor any budgets that were discussed prior to booking the tattoo project.

Total time and price will depend on how complex the piece is and how well your skin takes the ink— especially regarding cover-up or rework projects.

Cancellations & Rescheduling

If you need to reschedule your tattoo session, please notify me ASAP— no later than 24 hours before the appointment in order to retain your deposit. Be ready to discuss alternative dates, otherwise I will consider it as a cancellation & a new deposit will be required to book.

I will allow 1 (one) timely reschedule before I have to ask for a new deposit. Too many reschedules may lead to discontinuation of services.

No-Call-No-Shows

I will allow for 2 (two) No-show incidents before I have to discontinue service.

Touch ups

I offer 1 (one) complimentary touch up session of my work once it’s healed (3-4weeks min.) This is for minor additions that may have been lost during the initial healing process. This offer is valid for up to 1 year post-session. I’m happy to give your tat some love! Just mention it in your inquiry.

Tipping

I’ve said it before, and I will say it again— TIPS ARE NOT NECESSARY. Obviously, I appreciate them when they are given, but don’t feel pressured to tip if you can’t! I charge my rates for a reason and I don’t expect additional payment outside of what we agreed upon prior to our session.

Other ways you can show your appreciation include but not limited to:

  • Giving a 5-star review on Google/Yelp

  • A tasty treat/homemade craft

  • Cool trinkets or art books

  • Tagging my work on Social Media

  • Referring folks to me!

  • Buying prints and signal boosting shop events/conventions etc.

Before your session…

  • Cash, Card (4%) fee applied and Zelle are Accepted day-of the appointment.

  • Please eat well, rest and hydrate prior to your tattoo session.

  • You may have up to one (1) visitor at your appointment.

  • Bring comfort items (I.e. extra pillow, hoodie, stress ball, book, headphones etc.) for a comfortable session! We’re gonna be here for a while.

  • Wear clothing that allows easy access to the tattoo area and is OK to get ink on.

Additionally, I keep pasties and hair ties in my kit if you need extra coverage as per request.

  • If you insist on using a numbing cream, please perform a patch test in an inconspicuous area to ensure the skin doesn’t get irritated.

  • I reserve the right to refuse to tattoo anyone who appears to be in an unfit condition, under my sole discretion. This may include the tattoo area being sunburned, affected by rashes, hives or similar skin conditions.
